Using Windows Core Audio (WASAPI) loopback capture for audio frequency detection:

  1. Initialize IAudioClient with AUDCLNT_STREAMFLAGS_LOOPBACK.
  2. Ingest 48kHz stereo float PCM audio packets.
  3. Compute Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) on 512-sample audio buffers.
  4. When weapon headshot dink or shield break audio frequencies (4.2kHz - 5.1kHz band) spike by >18dB above noise floor, log confirmed hitmark feedback in < 3 milliseconds!
