Terms of Service

1. The agreement

By creating an account, signing in, buying a licence, ordering a server, or simply browsing unreliablecode, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" then means that organisation.

Three other documents form part of this agreement and are incorporated by reference:

• the Acceptable Use Policy — what may be run, hosted, uploaded and published;
• the License Agreement — the rights attached to a licence key and our software;
• the Billing & Refund Policy — invoicing, renewals, suspension and refunds.

Where a service-specific document conflicts with these Terms on a point it covers, the service-specific document wins for that point only.

2. What the platform provides

unreliablecode is a single account across a set of distinct services. Not every service is available to every account, and services are enabled, disabled or changed from the admin panel as the platform develops:

• Community and publishing — the feed, stories, forums, groups, direct messages, global chat, blogs and articles, videos, shorts and the gallery showcase.
• Developer tooling — Git repository hosting over HTTP, gists, and personal Drive storage subject to a per-account quota.
• Learning — courses, lessons, code challenges, cloud lab sessions, and issued certificates with public verification links.
• Marketplace and directories — the community App Store, the Minecraft server directory, and seller/reseller programmes.
• Paid infrastructure and products — Cloud VPS instances (KVM and container), port forwarding, web hosting, subscriptions, and licensed software distributed under the License Agreement.
• Wallet and rewards — a fiat balance, platform points, vouchers and redeemable keys, plus affiliate and monetisation programmes.

We may add, change, suspend or retire any part of the platform. Where a change materially reduces a paid service you are actively using, we will give notice and, if you do not want to continue on the new terms, the Billing & Refund Policy sets out what happens to the unused portion of what you paid.

3. Your account

You need an account for most of the platform. You agree that:

• the registration details you give are accurate, and the email address is one you control — we use it for invoices, suspension notices, password resets and security alerts;
• your account is yours alone. Do not share credentials, sell or transfer the account, or let anyone else use it. Team access belongs in a separate account per person;
• you are responsible for everything done through your account, including by anyone you gave access to, up to the point you tell us it is compromised;
• you keep your password strong and unique, and tell us through a support ticket as soon as you suspect unauthorised access;
• you do not register accounts in bulk, automate registration, or create a new account to evade a suspension or ban.

Age. You must be at least 13 to hold an account, and at least the minimum age of digital consent in your country where that is higher. If you are under 18, you may only use paid services — licences, hosting, wallet top-ups, payouts — with the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

Email verification may be required before an account is usable. Some features additionally require a minimum standing, rank, or completed application.

4. Your content

Anything you post, upload, push, host or publish here — posts, comments, blogs, videos, images, repositories, gists, files in Drive, submitted apps, server listings, avatars, profile text — is your content. You keep ownership of it. We claim no ownership over your code or your work.

To operate the platform we need permission to handle that content. You grant unreliablecode a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit, transcode, cache, back up, index and display your content for the purpose of running and improving the services you posted it to, including generating thumbnails and previews, and displaying it in search, feeds and embeds on the platform. Content you mark as private stays subject to the visibility you chose. This licence ends when you delete the content, apart from backups still in rotation and copies others have lawfully reshared under the platform's own sharing features.

You promise that you have the rights to everything you post, that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights, and that it complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.

We do not pre-screen content, and we are not obliged to monitor it. We may remove, hide, de-index or restrict content that breaks these Terms, exposes us to legal risk, or destabilises the platform, and we may do so without prior notice where the problem is serious or ongoing.

5. Our intellectual property

The platform itself — the software running unreliablecode.net, its source, design, layout, branding, name, logo, written material and the software packages we distribute under licence — belongs to unreliablecode or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

Your account, and any licence key you hold, grants you the right to use those things as described in these Terms and the License Agreement. Nothing here transfers ownership. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, rebrand, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the platform or our software except where the law expressly permits it despite a contractual restriction, or where we have given written permission — for example through the reseller programme.

Third-party components — including community-submitted apps in the App Store and open-source libraries — remain under their own licences, which you must observe.

6. Acceptable use, in short

The Acceptable Use Policy is the detailed version and it governs. In summary, you must not use unreliablecode to:

• break the law, or help someone else break it;
• attack, scan, flood, mine on, or otherwise abuse infrastructure — ours or anyone else's;
• distribute malware, credential stealers, phishing pages, or content designed to deceive;
• infringe copyright, trade marks or privacy, including reuploading other people's work as your own;
• harass, threaten, dox or impersonate people;
• post sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors in any form — this is reported to the authorities without exception;
• circumvent quotas, rate limits, paywalls, bans, licensing checks or the security systems that protect the platform;
• resell or redistribute our services or licence keys outside the reseller programme.

The platform runs automated intrusion detection, upload scanning and abuse monitoring. Deliberately probing, evading or attacking those systems is itself a breach of this agreement.

7. Purchases, wallet and billing

Prices are quoted in US dollars. Where a local payment method is used, the amount is converted at the platform's published rate at the time of payment, and your bank or wallet provider may add its own fees or rate. Points and vouchers convert at the platform rate shown at the time of the transaction.

Payments are taken through third-party providers — currently PayPal for international cards and accounts, and Duitku for bank transfer and e-wallet methods. Those providers have their own terms and handle your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card or bank credentials.

Key points, with the full version in the Billing & Refund Policy:

• Recurring services are invoiced in advance — a VPS invoice is issued roughly three days before the service period ends and is due on the expiry date.
• If an invoice is unpaid on its due date it becomes overdue, and the service is automatically suspended and powered off. Settling the invoice restores it.
• Wallet balance is a prepaid credit for use on this platform. It is not a bank deposit, earns no interest, and is not transferable off-platform except through programmes we explicitly run.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

We may change prices for future terms. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

8. Hosting, servers and data

Cloud VPS, web hosting and lab environments are provided on shared physical infrastructure. When you run a service here you are responsible for what runs inside it: the operating system after provisioning, the software you install, its patches, its configuration, its security, and the legality of what it serves.

Backups are your responsibility. Unless a backup service is explicitly included in your package and shown as active, assume there is no backup of your server, your Drive files or your repositories other than what you make yourself. Keep an off-platform copy of anything you cannot lose.

We may access, restart, throttle, isolate or power off a service without prior notice where it is necessary to protect the platform or other customers — for example a compromised server sending spam or taking part in an attack, or a workload destabilising a node. We will tell you afterwards and, where it is safe to do so, work with you to get the service back.

Suspended and terminated services are reclaimed on the schedule in the Billing & Refund Policy. Once reclaimed, the data is gone and we cannot recover it.

We do not promise a specific uptime figure unless a written service-level commitment has been agreed for your package. Maintenance, hardware failure, upstream network problems and provider outages happen.

9. Third-party content, apps and advertising

The App Store, the Minecraft server directory, community posts and outbound links contain material published by other users and by third parties. We do not endorse it, verify it, or guarantee it is safe or accurate — automated scanning reduces risk but does not eliminate it. Download and run community software at your own risk.

Some pages carry third-party advertising. Adverts are sold for monetisation and are not sponsorships or endorsements. Advertising networks may serve misleading offers or harmful downloads despite filtering; treat advert content with the same caution as any unknown site, and never enter your unreliablecode credentials into a page an advert opened.

Where you connect a third-party service, or follow a link off-platform, that service's own terms and privacy policy apply to what happens there.

10. Suspension and termination

By you. You may stop using the platform at any time and request account deletion through a support ticket. Deletion cancels active services; unused prepaid time is handled under the Billing & Refund Policy.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your account, a licence, or an individual service if:

• you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
• an invoice is unpaid past its due date;
• a payment is reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent;
• your use threatens the security, stability or legality of the platform;
• we are required to act by law or by a competent authority.

Where the breach is minor and fixable we will normally warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. Where it is serious — fraud, attacks on infrastructure, malware distribution, child sexual abuse material — suspension is immediate and permanent, no refund is due, and we may report the matter.

On termination your right to use the platform ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — content licences already granted, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law — survive.

11. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

Specifically, we do not warrant that: community-submitted software is safe or functional; a course or certificate will be recognised by any employer or authority; a listed Minecraft server behaves as described; third-party advertising is honest; or that any particular result, ranking, earning or reward will follow from your use of the platform.

Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, unreliablecode, its operators and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or loss or corruption of data, however caused.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this agreement is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you actually paid us for the affected service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD 50.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold unreliablecode harmless against claims, damages and reasonable costs brought by a third party arising from your content, your use of the platform, or your breach of this agreement.

13. Copyright and takedown claims

If material on unreliablecode.net infringes your copyright or trade mark, send a notice through a support ticket including:

• identification of the work and of the material you say infringes it, with the exact URL;
• your contact details;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• a statement, made under penalty of perjury where your jurisdiction provides for it, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and notify the user who posted it, who may submit a counter-notice. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform changes or the law requires. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice — a platform announcement, an email, or a notice on sign-in — before they take effect for existing accounts.

Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the platform and close your account; the refund policy governs any prepaid time remaining.

15. Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, where the platform is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Indonesia.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence.

Talk to us first. Almost everything — billing errors, suspensions, content disputes — is resolved faster through a support ticket than through a court. We ask that you raise a dispute with us and give us 30 days to respond before starting formal proceedings.

16. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the documents they incorporate are the whole agreement between you and unreliablecode about the platform.
• Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the provision is applied as closely as possible to its original intent.
• No waiver. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it.
• Assignment. You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the platform's operations.
• Notices. We give notice through the email on your account, a platform announcement, or a notice shown on sign-in. You give notice through a support ticket.
• Language. These Terms are written in English. A translation is provided for convenience only; the English version governs.
